The black oxide finish on these set screws is really consistent—no patchy spots like I’ve seen on cheaper brands. I used them to secure a pulley on a shaft, and the cup point bit in solidly without stripping the threads.

The hex socket drive made these easy to torque down in a tight spot, and the thermal black oxide finish looks consistent across all 50 pieces. I used a full pack securing pulleys to a keyless shaft and every one seated flush without any stripped threads.
