I needed a lot of screws for a small electronics enclosure, and the zinc plating on these #2-56s is consistent and smooth, so they don't jam in the threads. The flat head sits perfectly flush in the counterbore, just what I was after for a clean look.

The flat heads sit flush in my panels without any stripping, and the phillips slots grab the driver bit firmly every time. For a 5000-count box of #2-56s, the zinc finish has held up fine through a couple of weeks on my bench.
