Finally found machine screws small enough for the delicate camera adjustment plates I’m building. The #4-40 threads are precise and the truss heads sit flush without stripping.

Just finished assembling a batch of fixtures and these #4-40 screws seated cleanly without any stripping—the Phillips drive cuts down on cam-out nicely. Having 1,800 pieces means I won't be running out anytime soon, and the 18/8 stainless should hold up well in the damp basement environment.

These little truss heads fit perfectly into my control panel prototypes, and the stainless steel finish still looks clean after sitting in a damp garage for weeks. I appreciate that they’re non-magnetic too, since my magnetic screw tray doesn’t grab them.
