I was pleasantly surprised how well the hex socket drive held up during a tight-fit assembly project. The 316 stainless finish also feels more corrosion-resistant than standard steel hardware I've used before.

The cup point really bites into the shaft, so there’s no slipping once you torque them down with a hex key. I just finished a small marine hardware project and these M3x12mm set screws in 316 stainless are holding tight in a saltwater environment.

The hex socket drive made tightening these into my RC car chassis so much easier than slotted screws—no stripped heads. They're a bit pricier than standard ones, but the 316 stainless feels solid and won't rust near saltwater.
