Installed these 6-inch set screws on a conveyor drive shaft and the cup point bit in firmly without slipping. The hex socket held up well under a lot of torque in a cramped spot.

Used these to lock a sprocket onto a keyed shaft and the hex socket drive made it easy to get proper torque even with limited clearance. The threads cut clean and all 25 in the package were consistent.

The cup point really bites into the shaft—I was worried about slippage under heavy vibration, but these held firm all week. The six-inch length gave me plenty of reach in a tight bore, and the alloy steel feels plenty tough for the torque I put on them.
