Worked perfectly for a stubborn gear pulley that kept slipping on a lathe spindle. The hex socket drive let me really crank it down tight in a cramped spot, and the cup point bit into the shaft beautifully.

I needed to secure a heavy bracket onto a steel beam, and the cup point on these set screws really bit into the metal without slipping. The M24 thread felt substantial, and the hex socket drive let me apply plenty of torque in a cramped corner.

The hex socket drive made cinching these down in a tight machine frame so much easier than using a wrench. The cup point tip bit into the metal surface firmly, giving me the hold I needed.
