These little M3 cup points are exactly the torque-transfer I needed for locking collars, and the hex socket makes them easy to seat even in a cramped motor bracket. A thousand in one bag means I won't have to reorder for ages, and the alloy steel feels plenty rigid for my applications.

Needed a batch of cup-point screws for a tiny motor mount repair, and these torqued down perfectly without stripping. The hex socket drive made it easy to get them snug in a spot I could barely reach.

Used about 150 so far to secure jigs on my CNC mill, and the hex socket drive lets me tighten them down without stripping. They hold position even under heavy vibration, which is exactly what I needed.
