Needed a set screw that could handle repeated adjustments without stripping, and these M6 cup points with the hex socket drive have held up perfectly through a few rebuilds already. The zinc plating adds a nice touch of corrosion resistance for the price.

Installed these on a conveyor drive shaft and the hex socket made torqueing them in a cramped spot way easier than a regular slot. The zinc coating seems like it'll hold up fine in a mildly damp workshop too.

The cup point really bites into the shaft, so I don't worry about it backing out under heavy use. Even in tight spaces, the hex socket drive gave me solid control without stripping.
