The half dog point tip seated perfectly into the alignment hole on my fixture, and the alloy steel feels strong enough for repeated adjustments. Worked great for securing a collar on a small shaft.

The hex socket drive made seating these in a tight spot under the machine frame way easier than fumbling with a wrench. Half dog point seated cleanly and the alloy steel feels solid—no stripped threads after torquing them down.

Needed a solid batch of set screws for a fixture and these have the half dog point tip that seats perfectly without chewing up the shaft. Alloy steel feels plenty tough for the torque I'm putting on them, and the hex socket drive engaged cleanly every time.
