These aluminum standoffs are lightweight and the #6-32 threads cut cleanly without any binding. I used them to mount a panel and they held perfectly after a quick swage with my press.

I've been using these standoffs for mounting PCBs in a batch of enclosures, and the aluminum holds up well to repeated screw insertion. The threading is consistent throughout the box, no stripped holes or burrs at all.

The threads cut cleanly every time I pressed them into the panel—zero galling on the aluminum, which is a relief when you're seating hundreds. The swage action holds firm in 0.060" sheet, and the #6-32 fit is spot-on for PCB spacers. For a bulk box of 1000, the uniformity is impressively consistent.
