Used a few of these for mounting brackets to a steel frame, and the threads cut cleanly every time. Each insert seated snug with no wobble, even in tight spots.

I was pleasantly surprised by how cleanly these inserts installed into aluminum — no stripping or wobbling at all. The eight-pack gives exactly enough for a small project, and the threads feel solid under a standard bolt.

Pulled these out of the package and the threads were perfectly clean, no burs or rough edges. They tapped into the aluminum plate without any binding.
