I needed a dozen of these for a heavy-duty fixture rebuild, and the Grade 8 yellow zinc coating looks just as tough as the specs suggest. They drove in smoothly with a socket wrench and held solid torque without any stripping.

These threads are perfectly formed all the way down the 10-inch length, so they thread into the nut block smoothly. I used them to mount a heavy vac pump base and the Grade 8 steel feels rock solid under load.

Bolt’s got a nice, clean yellow zinc coat that’s held up fine against oil and grime so far, and the hex head grabbed my socket without any slipping. Grade 8 rating gives me confidence these won’t give out under heavy torque, and having a full 30 in the pack is a solid deal for the shop.
