I needed some high-strength bolts for a press setup and these L9s handled the torque without any issues. The yellow zinc coating looks better and more durable than plain steel too.

Needed a sturdy bolt for a farm gate hinge repair and these L9s are definitely overbuilt for it—the yellow zinc coating still looks clean after a week of rain. The hex head gripped perfectly with a socket, no rounding.

Installing these on a heavy press fixture was straightforward because the partially threaded design let the bolt grip without binding early. The Grade L9 steel feels noticeably tougher than standard hardware store bolts. A solid win for industrial kit.
