The partially threaded design makes these screws perfect for when you need to draw two materials tight without the threads binding up. The hex head grips nicely with a standard socket, and the yellow zinc coating looks like it will hold up well in my workshop.

Grade L9 alloy steel is no joke — these bolts took the full torque on our press frame without a hint of stretch. The yellow zinc coating is evenly applied and the hex heads grabbed clean with a socket. Wish they came in a 50-pack, but 15 is enough for a solid retrofit.

I’ve been through a few lesser bolts that just couldn’t handle the torque, but these Grade L9 hex heads hold up perfectly on my press. The yellow zinc coating looks solid and the partially threaded shank makes alignment a breeze.
