Finally got a chance to torque these down on a heavy press frame — the Grade L9 alloy feels noticeably tougher than the usual Grade 5 hardware I've been using. The yellow zinc finish looks clean and should hold up well in my shop environment.

The partial threading on these 5/8-18 cap screws makes them perfect for my equipment assembly projects, and the hex head grabs the socket securely. Worked great for securing a heavy-duty bracket without stripping.

The partially threaded design made alignment a breeze when I was torquing these into a heavy equipment mount. The Grade L9 alloy took the full 120 ft-lbs without a hint of stripping, and the hex heads seated perfectly with a socket. Solid set of 25 for the price.
