The yellow zinc coating on these screws is holding up well in my humid workshop, and the hex head grabs my socket without slipping. I’ve used a dozen already for a metal frame, and they thread cleanly every time.

I needed these for a jig I was building, and the partially threaded shaft made it easy to align before tightening. The yellow zinc coating looks solid and the hex head grabbed perfectly with my socket wrench.

I’ve been using these 1/4-20 x 2" cap screws to mount some heavy machinery guards, and the six-lobe hex head grabs a socket without slipping. The threads cut cleanly into steel, and the yellow zinc seems to resist corrosion better than the black-oxide bolts I’ve used before.
