Used these to bolt down a heavy press in the shop and the 10-inch length gave plenty of grip through the base plate, no stripping on the threads either. The hex head made torquing them down with a socket wrench quick and easy. For the price and USA-made steel, these are a solid buy.

The yellow zinc finish on these screws is holding up perfectly in a slightly damp machinery enclosure, no rust after two weeks. They torqued down smoothly with a socket, and the threads on all 25 were clean and consistent. Exactly what I needed for a heavy-duty frame repair.

Mounted a 10-inch piece to a pump base plate this morning and the hex heads took a 1-1/8" socket without any stripping. The PFC9 yellow zinc finish held up fine against the grease on my gloves. These are solid, hefty bolts for heavy equipment work.
