The 400°F rating is what sold me, and so far these have held up perfectly against the heat where my old seals kept failing. The brown color actually makes them easy to spot during assembly, which is a nice bonus.

Needed a high-temp seal for a small steam valve that kept failing, and these Viton o-rings with the 75 durometer feel noticeably firmer than the standard ones I tried before. The 5.859" ID fit perfectly into the groove, and so far no leaks after a week of cycling up to 300°F.
